HR Pioneer Days at the Mansion

Date and Time:
Thursday, September 5, 2019 - 9:00am to Sunday, September 8, 2019 - 2:59pm

Highlands Ranch Pioneer Days
Join us at the Highlands Ranch Mansion on September 5-7, when the
old west comes to life at Highlands Ranch Pioneer Days! This event offers
a variety of hands-on educational opportunities that get children
engaged with history! Learn about fur trapping, see what the pelts settlers
would use for trade, and try your hand at gold panning! There will also
be horse drawn hay rides, a petting zoo, and much more! Enjoy Indian
Fry Bread and honey on the Mansion lawn. Entertainment will feature songs
and dance performances by Native Americans, banjo music, and a raptor
program from Nature’s Educators. Tour the Mansion and learn about the
Old West from the Highlands Ranch Historical Society.
Highlands Ranch Pioneer Days is a great experience for a school field
trip! Email amanda.arnce@hrcaonline. org to register or for more information.
Parking is only available on Saturday at the Mansion with handicapped
